    Webinar: Talent Attraction

    European cities are increasingly facing common challenges related not only to education and innovation, but also to attracting, developing and retaining talent. Ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified human resources is essential to respond to the needs of local entrepreneurial ecosystems and to support sustainable urban development. Strengthening technical and specialized training in strategic areas—particularly within STEAM fields—is therefore critical, both in terms of job opportunities and the availability of skilled workforce.

  • We Create Space Network meeting in Koszalin focuses on municipal grant programmes and public engagement

    The second Transnational Meeting of the We Create Space – URBACT Transfer Network (5-6 May 2026) brought together partners from across Europe in Koszalin (Poland) to advance cooperation and share practical knowledge on participatory public space development. The two-day programme addressed local grant schemes, public engagement, and effective programme delivery, while further strengthening cooperation between cities.

  • Calls, Vernetzung, Wissenstransfer: EU-Fördermöglichkeiten für Kommunen im Bereich der nachhaltigen Stadtentwicklung

    Am 23. März 2026 organisierten wir als gemeinsame Kontaktstelle der  Europäischen Stadtinitiative („European Urban Initiative“, kurz EUI) und des europäischen URBACT-Programms eine Infoveranstaltung zu den aktuellen Förderaufrufen und Vernetzungsmöglichkeiten beider Programme. Deutlich wurde bei der Veranstaltung, dass neben dem Zugang zu EU-Mitteln das Erlangen neuen Know-Hows  die wichtigsten Mehrwerte der europäischen Kooperation darstellen. Die beiden Förderprogramme ermöglichen einen Blick über den eigenen Tellerrand und helfen dabei innovative Lösungen für die lokalen Herausforderungen zu finden.
