Planning Authority Confirms Grade 2 Status for Fawwara Aqueduct

The Planning Authority has reaffirmed the protection of the historic Fawwara Aqueduct by rejecting a reconsideration request and expanding its Grade 2 scheduling.
This decision strengthens Malta’s commitment to cultural heritage preservation and aligns with the URBACT programme’s focus on sustainable urban development, heritage-led regeneration, and community resilience.
