Summary

I work with cities to help them turn ideas into action - whether that means transferring a good practice, shaping an integrated strategy, or simply creating the right conditions for people to work better together. Over the past 13 years, I’ve supported city networks and European programmes such as the European Urban Initiative and Interreg Europe, designing and facilitating learning processes that connect local ambition with wider policy frameworks. Recognizing the importance of capacity-building, my focus has been on helping local teams plan, learn from each other, and make better use of EU funds through tools like SUDs and ITIs.

I have a strong interest in culture, social innovation, and integrated approaches to city development, taking a strategic view of how a city can grow while keeping its mix of people, places, and ideas. I believe that the diversity within a city can be an advantage when planning is done with care and with people involved from the start. For me, a good urban strategy recognises this variety, links cultural life with social goals, and connects them to how the city is planned and managed.

When I work with cities, I aim to keep things simple and open. I make sure everyone feels part of the exchange and that learning leads to something practical. I am Romanian and French, based in Lille, and work in English, French, and Romanian. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and am always happy to connect with cities that want to learn and grow together.
