The URBACT call for Transfer Networks, running until 30 June 2025, is your chance to take part in a powerful movement of European cities tackling local challenges with tried-and-tested solutions.
But don’t take our word for it, hear from the 45 Good Practice cities still looking for partners in the next round of networks!
A one-click pitch from URBACT Good Practice cities
During the 2025 URBACT City Festival we had the chance to sit down with representatives of the 116 recently awarded URBACT Good Practice cities.
Check out the short video pitches created by the leading cities to present their Good Practices and explain what makes them unique.
For example, Tâmega e Sousa (PT), whose social intervention project offers psychological, legal, and social support to victims of violence. Over in Näsby (SE), the Urban Community Development project is transforming the neighbourhood into a model of sustainable development, tackling segregation, income inequality, and low civic participation through a participatory process. If you're looking for data-driven, human-centred innovation, check out Comon, in Ghent (BE), where diverse stakeholders co-create socio-technological solutions rooted in real urban needs.
What is an URBACT Transfer Network?
URBACT Transfer Networks are a type of partnership that brings together 6-8 partner cities, led by one of the 116 successful URBACT Good Practices labelled in 2024.
Over the course of 2.5 years, partner cities work together to adapt the selected Good Practice to their own local context, benefitting from capacity-building and knowledge opportunities, while gaining visibility and recognition at the European level.
