Von der ehemaligen Stasi-Zentrale zum Dritten Ort? URBACT-Local-Group-Treffen in Leipzig

Welchen Charakter soll der geplante neue Dritte Ort am Matthäikirchhof  – ehemals Stasi-Zentrale in der Leipziger Innenstadt – haben und welche Zwischennutzungen könnten dies befördern? 
Mit diesen Fragen haben sich am 11. Februar 2025 die Teilnehmenden der lokalen Arbeitsgruppe der Stadt Leipzig (URBACT-Local-Group, ULG) im Rahmen des URBACT-Netzwerkes ARCHETHICS beschäftigt.

Wrocław ootab: tutvuge 2025. aasta URBACTi linnafestivali võõrustajaga

Sel aastal tähistab URBACT linnafestival oma kümnendat sünnipäeva! 8.–10. aprillil koguneb Wrocławisse üle 600 linnaeksperdi kogu Euroopast.

2025. aasta URBACTi linnafestival on suurepärane võimalus tutvuda äsja valitud 116 URBACT hea linnapoliitilise praktikaga, luua uusi partnerlussuhteid seoses URBACTi ülekandevõrgustike (Transfer Network Call) kutsega ning jagada väärtuslikke teadmisi säästva linnaarengu teemal.

Η κατανόηση της κοινής μας ιστορίας και των απαρχών των δημοκρατικών μας συστημάτων είναι ζωτικής σημασίας για το μέλλον της δημοκρατίας. Ωστόσο, αυτό συχνά συνεπάγεται την αντιμετώπιση σκληρών αληθειών, διακοινοτικών συγκρούσεων ή τραυμάτων. Εξερευνήστε πώς εννέα ευρωπαϊκές πόλεις ερευνούν αστικούς χώρους και μνημεία "δυσαρμονικής πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς" για να διαπιστώσετε πώς τέτοιοι χώροι μπορούν να αξιοποιηθούν για την ενίσχυση των δημοκρατικών αξιών και της αλληλεγγύης.

When talking about green transition as a cross cutting theme in our everyday life, we should focus on where we can do a lot by doing a little.

Dancing the Walls of Limerick on the Old City Walls of Limerick!

The key aims for our city in the URBACT GreenPlace network is to test the level of interest local groups have in the Old City Walls of Limerick. Limerick City and County Council have been working on a series of measures/testing actions to enhance the Irishtown area, looking to create a connection locally. 

The projects focus is on the Irishtown area in Limerick City, looking to increase the green potential of the Old City Walls, to remove the perception that the area is unsafe and to augment the tourist potential of the Walls.
