Summary

I am a political scientist specializing in Human Rights and equality, diversity and inclusion policies. I have an extensive experience working with refugees and migrants in vulnerable situations, especially with children, youth, women and LGBTIQ+.

My whole professional career has been focused on Human Rights. I have worked for NGOs as well as for public institutions. For twelve years, I was the director of a major organization working with refugees and vulnerable migrants in Catalonia. Among other tasks, I advised public administrations in the adoption of public policies on human rights. I also worked on the inclusion of the Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) across other public policies. 

Currently, as a consultant, I continue advising and assisting public administrations and NGOs. I engage mainly in the processes of identifying, designing and assessing migrant and refugees reception and social inclusion policies, services, programs and projects from a human rights perspective. I also support them in their capacity-building processes: training needs diagnosis, training design and implementation and the elaboration of guides and materials. 

I am a member of the Advisory Council of the Fundació Autònoma Solidària (FAS), a university-based social organization, and member of the Executive Board of the Human Rights Institute of Catalonia and of the Comissió Catalana d’Acció pel Refugi.
