Summary

With 13 years of experience in the management of European projects, a background in Applied Ecology (Biological Sciences), an international master's degree in Sustainable Local Development, and a PhD in Agricultural, Environmental, and Food Sciences and Technologies, I’m a senior expert in designing, coordinating and implementing EU projects at international level mainly dealing with climate change mitigation and adaptation, circular economy, bioeconomy, and sustainable value chains. I’m currently the
Furthermore, I'm the president and chief project officer of Area Europa scarl (www.areaeuropa.it), a cooperative consultancy that works in the field of sustainable project development since 1999.  Furthermore, I was the Urbact Local Group Coordinator for the Agri-Urban Project and the project manager of WEgate - We open doors for Women Entrepreneurship (https://wegate.eu/) on behalf of ESBA, the European Small Business Alliance.
Here are the main activities I was involved in:
- Bachelor thesis on Climate effects on the natural environment
- Participation in the Pioneers Into Practice program organized by the Climate KIC
- PhD thesis on the Climate Change Adaptation capacity of the wine industry, with a comparison between Italian and French regions
- Stakeholder coordinator and participatory process expert in the framework of several EU projects
- Responsible for the LIFE asn Erasmus+ projects replication and transferability
- Project manager of Erasmus+ and Horizon projects dealing with climate change and gender equality and women's empowerment
- Expert for the evaluation of the Auraclima program
- Responsible for the implementation of Action Plans and Local Development Strategy
