Summary

I have been designing public space and public facilities for over 15 years, and I conduct workshops, trainings and community consultations on spatial solutions, revitalisation activities and public participation in design. I have experience in the implementation of social projects within a number of non-governmental organisations. I derive great satisfaction from working in a multidisciplinary group.

I use the Design Thinking method in my work by testing various tools and techniques to facilitate the involvement of city dwellers in the design of spatial solutions. I explore methods to involve city dwellers and space users in architectural and urban design.

I work with city councils as an expert on revitalisation, participation and socially engaged spatial planning. I am looking for design solutions that focus on people and their needs while respecting the existing and natural environment (nature-based design). I am currently working at the Silesian University of Technology and am involved in research projects in the field of Healthy and Climate Resilient City. I am a mentor in international and youth projects, where I can share my knowledge with young people who want to change their environment.

I am willing to be involved in activities where residents can, with a little expert support, undertake changes to their environment themselves. I see my role in motivational, specialist and educational activities that support the creation of local community resources in the context of resilience building.
