    Today, the technological and digital transition is accelerating, making access to technology and online resources essential. Some people, already facing various forms of discrimination, are digitally excluded, complicating their integration. For newcomers, digital inclusion is crucial for their integration and well-being. Ensuring their access to digital tools and resources eases their transition and encourages active societal participation. The WELDI network is developing strategies to promote this inclusion, exemplified by Cluj-Napoca's detailed plan for an online one-stop shop.

  • Addressing Housing Challenges in Albacete, Spain

    Albacete is a vibrant cultural center located in the Castilla-La Mancha region, one of the most dynamic agricultural regions in Europe. Due to its strategic location, Albacete attracts a large number of seasonal migrant workers. The city strives to meet the specific needs of migrant workers and their families, some of whom live in informal settlements. Thus, as part of the WELDI project, the municipality hosted the third transnational meeting of the network devoted to the theme of housing.

    The Executive Agency of the European Commission for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) has recently published the guide Making Socially Responsible Public Procurement Work: 71 Good Practices Cases, which includes the case study called Strategy for Socially Responsible Public Procurement at Pamplona City Council. In this way, Pamplona's responsible public procurement policy is recognized at European level as a good practice to be replicated.
