  • Introducing the Resourceful Cities Action Planning Network: Driving citizen centred, resource-based transition in cities across Europe

    A citizen centred circular economy project with a difference, the Resourceful Cities concept was conceived by The Hague and Oslo, arising from their membership in the Urban Agenda Partnership on Circular Economy. The project was developed to implement one of the twelve actions addressed by the Urban Agenda partnership - namely the action to "Promote Urban Resource Centres for waste prevention, re-use and recycling".

  • Riga NGO House together with NGOs combines efforts and welcomes children and young people with disabilities for special event

    At the end of last year on December 12, 2019, more than 130 children and young people gathered together at the Riga NGO House to rise their social ability through the networking. This event was initiated and created by several NGOs. Despite of having different scope of action, organizations managed to put their forces and ideas together to work for common goal.

  • Transnational Meeting Bielsko-Biala: 11-12 December 2019

    On the 11th and 12th of December 2019, the Welcoming International Talent project was hosted by the Polish city of Bielsko-Biala. These two days, we discussed the situation in Bielsko-Biala with regard to the attraction and integration of international talents and what role the labour market plays in this issue. Jan Kees of the city of Groningen shares his experience of this promising city in the South Silesian region of Poland.
