Summary

A PhD in Urban Geography, I have more than 15 years of experience in facilitating city-to-city learning in Eurocities and in transnational peer learning projects funded by DG Migration & Home Affairs (AMIF), Regional Policy (UIA) and Justice (REC/CERV programme).
I have facilitated knowledge transfer and learning in projects coordinated by Eurocities, CEMR, MedCities and individual city councils such as Barcelona and Mataró - predominantly on migrant integration and reception, but also on affordable housing, labour market integration and Roma inclusion.
I am experienced in applying methods such as peer reviews, communities of practice, thematic benchmarking, mentoring and action learning in city-to-city exchanges; and I am experienced in synthesising trends and providing policy guidance in writing and through videos.
I have a solid understanding of EU policy context in urban and a variety of sectoral policies, but I believe in the potential of Europe's cities to be innovators and not just implementers. I have lived in 4 EU member states and work in 5 EU languages.
Last but not least, I enjoy working with city council staff from across Europe and am a strong believer in the value of well structured, managed and facilitated transnational learning to trigger local change and innovation.
