Summary

My career path has taken me through academia, consultancy, and policy, all converging on a single mission — driving innovation and sustainability in research, education and the workforce. Having worked at universities in Estonia, Denmark, and the UK, as well as with private companies and NGOs such as EFIS, EUCEN, Technopolis Group, and the Estonian Academy of Sciences, I’ve seen firsthand how knowledge, skills, and policies intersect to shape more opportunities for ourselves!

I focus on integrating research, education, and business — the knowledge triangle — at national, regional and institutional level. My work spans international research and policy, with an emphasis on research and innovation policies, lifelong learning perspectives and programmes, sustainability education and competence-building, as well as sustainable organisational development. From working with professional learners, researchers and businesses to contributing to the EdTech Talents and SustainERA projects, I believe technology, innovation and sustainability can work hand in hand. I became the URBACT IV validated expert and the Director of the Estonian National Centre of the Baltic University Programme in 2025. I am a Member of the Steering Committee of EUCEN, the European Universities Continuous Education Association.

I am happy to support local municipalities and other regional and community-based initiatives!
