Summary

I have been involved in sustainable and integrated urban development for more than twelve years. As a town planner, I have worked for and consulted numerous small to medium sized municipalities. Through this often continuous or repeated engagement, I developed a wide range of experience in various fields such as strategic urban planning (urban development plans, neighbourhood development strategies), housing (urban regeneration), participative governance (citizen and stakeholder engagement), urban design (urban morphology, public space) or mobility (modal split, transportation networks).

Based on the Urbact Good Practice "Housing Agency for Shrinking Cities", I had the opportunity to initiate and coordinate the URBACT transfer network ALT/BAU (Alternative Building Activation Units, 2018-2021) as the project coordinator on Lead Partner level. This experience, both challenging and rewarding, helped me to value the innovative and activating potential that transnational cooperation can have for municipalities, urban projects and also individual participants in the networks.

I will be happy to join your future networks to contribute my expertise as Ad-hoc Expert. But even more, I am looking forward to help you make the best out of your URBACT journey by helping to shape the processes and outcomes of your network as a Lead Expert.
