Summary

My strengths in a nutshell? Strategic communication and participative governance in the urban energy field. Since almost 20 years, I am working with cities on their most pressing urban issues, notably related to energy and climate matters. At the European city network Energy Cities, I have led communications and EU policy initiatives, focusing on renewables, energy poverty and urban transitions overall.

As a communication and facilitation expert in the sustainability field, I enjoy connecting cities and different local players with each other. And what counts is: Collaboration needs to be effective and fun! That's why I'm trying to be both, pragmatic and creative. As I want to make sure enthusiastic local players grow stronger and are heard by other city changemakers or EU policymakers, I'm hosting the "City Stories" podcast since 2020, where I engage with guests to discuss democratic energy transitions and share inspiring city stories. My international experience spans from my hometown Berlin to Ireland, Belgium, Chile, and France. I have a BA in Media Management and an MSc in Human Ecology.

If you're from a city seeking to enhance your communication strategy even with a small budget, to go for more participation, and to advance energy transition initiatives with others thanks to a solid action plan, I'll be very happy to partner up with you to get things done.
