Hydro-Heritage Cities network that collaborates on adapting the know-how of the Urban Innovative Actions project Cultural H.ID.RA.N.T. in diverse local contexts. Building on Chalandri’s integrated, participatory approach, the network draws inspiration from the revitalisation of a still-functioning Roman aqueduct, which was re-integrated into urban life. Hydro-Heritage Cities aims to test and refine this model as a prototype for regenerating cultural heritage sites linked to water in a sustainable, community-driven way, while also addressing climate change challenges and strengthening citizens' sense of belonging and ownership.
