Culture plays an important role in finding solutions to the complex issues of today’s urban metropolises. In the second year of this exciting project each city is now working towards engaging the citizens, using Small Scale Actions. The participation of citizens and stakeholders is central in the ACCESS approach.

Υπό την ευθύνη του επικεφαλής της μονάδας, ο ασκούμενος θα συμβάλει στην υλοποίηση του επικοινωνιακού σχεδίου του προγράμματος για το 2022, ιδίως σε ότι αφορά το URBACT City Festival για το λανσάρισμα του URBACT IV και στην επανεκκίνηση του διαδικτυακού τόπου του URBACT.

„Campania pentru mobilitate urbană durabilă” de vară din Bistrița

Acțiunea la scară mică desfășurată de Municipiul Bistrița se referă la o „Campanie pentru Mobilitate Urbană Durabilă”, care încearcă să încurajeze cetățenii să folosească mijloace de transport alternative durabile, să promoveze cultura ciclismului și să promoveze aceste mijloace.

De asemenea, Municipiul Bistrița se preocupă de protejarea mediului, reducerea CO2, astfel desfășoară în cadrul SSA o serie de acțiuni de educare, informare și conștientizare.

Bistrita's Summer 'Sustainable Urban Mobility Campaign'

The Small-Scale Action carried out by the Municipality of Bistrita refers to a “Sustainable Urban Mobility Campaign”, trying to encourage citizens to use sustainable alternative means of transport, to foster cycling culture and to promote these means.

Also, Bistrita municipality is concerned with protecting the environment, reducing CO2, thus carries out in the framework of the SSA a series of education, information and awareness actions.

Ozalj best practices on meaningful participation

The city of Ozalj was the co-host of the 4th Transnational Meeting which was held virtually between 24-26 November 2021 along with Manresa and Glasgow. Our main theme was Meaningful participation and co-creation and each co-host city shared best practices and introduced other cities to local customs.

URBACT-ohjelman DigiPlace -hankkeessa edistetään digitaalisia ratkaisuja pienissä ja keskisuurissa kaupungeissa. Ratkaisuja haetaan hankkeeseen osallistuvien kaupungin omista lähtökohdista ja kehittämiskohteina on aihealueita, joilla digitaalisuus tuo lisäarvoa. Kun lisäarvo ja sitä tukevat tavoitteet on tunnistettu, kaupungit laativat tavoitteisiin johtavan toteutussuunnitelman (Integrated Action Plan, IAP).  Varsinainen toteutus jää hankkeen jälkeen tehtäväksi.

De circulaire economie staat vandaag centraal in het Belgische en Europese overheidsbeleid. Het wordt gezien als een potentiële vector voor industriële herontwikkeling en als een sleutelsector voor duurzame ontwikkeling (CPDT, 2020). Maar wat is de circulaire economie in werkelijkheid? De circulaire economie is een economisch en industrieel systeem dat tot doel heeft producten terug te winnen en te recycleren, er zoveel mogelijk materiaal uit te halen, ze opnieuw te verpakken en ze opnieuw in te brengen in een nieuw productie- en waardecreatieproces (Eyckmans, 2015).
