Altena - A Transfer Story

Our starting point: We had already a working volunteering base, the STELLWERK and we also had some great projects which are going on in Altena, but we have one really big problem we need new and young people for our volunteering actions.

It was and still is a great chance to be a part of the transfer network from Urbact “Volunteering Cities” and learn from the lead partner and the other cities what we could do, to get more volunteers into the STELLWERK.

Sooline võrdõiguslikkus pärast pandeemiat

COVID-19 pandeemia on võimendanud mitmeid sotsiaalseid ja süsteemseid takistusi naiste igapäevaelus. Naised seisavad silmitsi suureneva perevägivalla, tasustamata hoolduskohustuse, töötuse ja vaesusega. Töökohtade kaotamine on pandeemia ajal puudutanud mitmeid sektoreid, kus traditsiooniliselt töötab rohkem just naisi, näiteks jae- ja teenindussektoreid. Meeste poolt domineeritud sektorid, näiteks ehitus ja tehnoloogia, on olnud pandeemiast vähem mõjutatud ning tõenäoliselt on neil ka pandeemiast väljatulek lihtsam. Väljaspool tööaega on täiendavad hoolduskohustused pandud just nüüd ebaproportsionaalselt naiste õlgadele. Olles sunnitud taanduma kodusesse erasfääri, on keerulisem osaleda poliitikas ja kodanikuühiskonna tegevustes.

ΤΕΛΙΚΟ ΣΥΝΕΔΡΙΟ ΤΟΥ ΔΙΚΤΥΟΥ «ΠΟΛΕΙΣ ΕΘΕΛΟΝΤΙΣΜΟΥ»

Με μεγάλη επιτυχία και συμμετοχή διοργανώθηκε τη Δευτέρα 24 Μαΐου το Τελικό Συνέδριο του Δικτύου «Πόλεις Εθελοντισμού» του Ευρωπαϊκού Προγράμματος URBACT, από τον Δήμο Αθηένου, που είναι ο Επικεφαλής Εταίρος του Δικτύου, σε συνεργασία με τις επτά πόλεις-εταίρους του Δικτύου και την Επικεφαλής Εμπειρογνώμονα κ. Maria Joao Filgueiras. Το Συνέδριο αποτέλεσε την καταληκτική εκδήλωση των δράσεων του Δικτύου, κλείνοντας έτσι μια πορεία τριών ετών γεμάτη εμπειρίες, ιδέες και επιτεύγματα, στην προσπάθεια μεταφοράς της Καλής Πρακτικής του Δήμου Αθηένου για τον Εθελοντισμό, που ανθεί στην Αθηένου, στις άλλες πόλεις του Δικτύου.

The power of civic ecosystems: Learning from the ACTive NGOs network

After three years of joint work, the ACTive NGOs URBACT Transfer Network has arrived to its final months. In these three years, the cities of Riga, Brighton and Hove, Dubrovnik, Espoo, Santa Pola and Syracuse have been working together on creating spaces for civic initiatives and stronger civic ecosystems around them. This article explores the broader context of this work and some of the key achievements of the partner cities.

Sono molte le città italiane che negli ultimi 2 anni sono state impegnate nei Transfer Network del programma URBACT con l’obiettivo di condividere e trasferire una buona pratica urbana per la definizione di politiche di sviluppo urbano integrato e sostenibile.
