Het vernieuwde Charter van Leipzig was al lang voor de Covid-19 pandemie in voorbereiding. Hebben de recente ervaringen het Duitse voorzitterschap van de EU gedwongen om zijn hele visie op de toekomst van stedelijke ontwikkeling te heroverwegen? Of heeft Covid-19 de noodzaak van de in het ontwerpdocument uiteengezette beginselen alleen maar versterkt? We spraken met Jonas Scholze, directeur van de Duitse Vereniging voor Huisvesting, Stedelijke en Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling, om daarachter te komen.
