    Malmö accelererar omställningen till cirkulär ekonomi genom URBACT nätverket Let’s go circular!- Paving the way for a Circular Transition of Cities

    Malmös målsättning är att vara klimatneutralt år 2030 och övergången till en cirkulär ekonomi ses som avgörande för att nå målet. Världen är linjär i sin konsumtion, så även Sverige och Malmö. Majoriteten av resurserna som Sverige använder för att tillgodose sina behov och efterfrågan kommer från uttag av nya resurser. Som ett steg i att ställa om till en mer cirkulär ekonomi har Malmö gått med i URBACT nätverket Let’s go Circular! vars syfte är att bana väg för en hållbar, rättvis och produktiv omställning av städer mot en fungerande cirkulär ekonomi. Genom utbyte med andra europeiska städer har Malmö nu möjlighet att vidareutveckla arbetet med stadens cirkulära omställning.

    Webinar "Exploring Micromobility: An Online Workshop on Walking, Cycling, and Active Mobility"

    What can you expect from the webinar?

    Jointly with mobility experts, we will explore multiple topics starting from micromobility like walking, cycling, overview of current trends and challenges, and ending with sustainable transportation topics – exploring other forms of active mobility, opportunities, and challenges in integrating these modes into urban transportation systems. We will also have a panel discussion where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions.

    Recap of the network meeting in Genk & Breda

    The first Core Network Meeting of the Agents of Co-Existence (AoCE) network took place from 13 to 16 November 2023. To minimise our ecological footprint, we chose to simultaneously visit two partner cities in close geographical proximity: Genk in Belgium and Breda in the Netherlands.

  • ECONNECTING’s second Transnational Meeting in CIM Viseu Dao Lafoes

    CIM Viseu Dão Lafões recently hosted the 2nd meeting of the ECONNECTING network, which central theme was "30 Minute Territories and Strategies for Humanized Mobility." Over the course of two days, participants delved into discussions on good practices implemented by CIM Viseu Dão Lafões and exchanged ideas and challenges faced by each partner in their respective territories.
