The European SDG Summit: Impactful partnerships to build back better and relevant themes for CITIES4CSR

The European SDG Summit is the annual meeting organized by CSR Europe between business leaders, business associations and representatives of the European Union. This 2020 edition has been dedicated to how to build impactful partnerships to address the crisis triggered by Covid-19 and generate a sustainable recovery by fully implementing the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

Στο πλαίσιο του Δικτύου Μεταφοράς Καλής Πρακτικής URBACT, Welcoming International Talent -WIT («Καλωσορίζοντας τα διεθνή ταλέντα»), επτά πόλεις στοχεύουν στην ανταλλαγή γνώσεων, στη βελτίωση των πολιτικών και στην εφαρμογή έργων βέλτιστων πρακτικών στις πανεπιστημιουπόλεις τους. Γιατί όμως αυτές οι συγκεκριμένες πόλεις συμμετέχουν στο δίκτυο WIT; Κάθε πόλη εξηγεί σε τι μπορεί να συνεισφέρει και τι θα ήθελε να μάθει από αυτήν την ανταλλαγή γνώσεων. Αυτή τη φορά παρουσιάζουμε την περίπτωση του Μάγκτενμπουργκ (Magdeburg) στη Γερμανία.

El método URBACT y el impulso de la planificación urbana integral en Europa

La legislación e informes provenientes de la Unión Europea como la ONU llevan años, décadas, estableciendo las directrices para impulsar un desarrollo sostenible de las ciudades y los territorios. Paralelamente desafíos urbanos como el cambio climático, la degradación de barrios vulnerables, el desempleo, el declive de la población en los pequeños núcleos, la caída de la inversión pública, la afluencia de migrantes y la digitalización de la sociedad, solo por nombrar algunos, instan a las ciudades de toda Europa a repensar y reformular su planificación y sus políticas.

C-Change European Week of Regions and Cities Workshop

The 18^th European week of Regions and Cities drew to a close last month with this year's event being the first ever event to be delivered fully online. The numbers for the event were staggering with 20,000+ participants, 1000+ speakers and 500+ sessions. The C-Change network was pleased to be chosen to host a workshop for one of those sessions.
