  • Alphen aan den Rijn: op weg naar een Groen-Blauwe stad!

    Alphen aan den Rijn is een gemeente in Zuid-Holland. De gemeente kent haar oorsprong in de Romeinse tijd en industrialiseerde in de negentiende en twintigste eeuw. Het uitgestrekte gebied en de omliggende dorpen zijn agrarisch gecentreerd, waaronder ook Boskoop valt, die vooral bekend staat om haar 560 kwekerijen. Deze groene achtertuin is een belangrijke economische pilaar en speelt een belangrijke rol in de toekomstige healthy city planning van Alphen aan den Rijn.
