    Between January and May 2026, TactiCity  organised a series of city visits across Europe to explore local approaches to tactical urbanism, participatory governance, and public space transformation.
  • NEB Public Spaces Network

    We are preparing an URBACT Action Network proposal focused on how European cities can rethink and transform existing public services and facilities through the New European Bauhaus approach. Many cities have libraries, cultural centres, community spaces, social facilities or other public buildings that are underused or not fully connected to current challenges such as climate adaptation, social cohesion, inclusion, digital transition and citizen participation.

    The Municipality of Brežice (Slovenia) is currently preparing a proposal for the upcoming URBACT Action Networks Call 2026 and is looking for European city partners interested in integrated, climate-sensitive and participatory revitalisation of historic city centres.

In Italy, legislative decree 199/2021 turned them into national law. By 2026, hundreds of RECs are operating across the continent, with thousands more in the pipeline.

  • FOOD-LINK – Local Food Resilience and Rural Value Chains

    FOOD-LINK aims to bring together small and intermediate municipalities that want to strengthen local food resilience, short supply chains and rural value chains. Many territories have strong food-production assets, but these are not always well connected to local consumption, schools, public institutions, markets, youth opportunities or wider local development. Baena, Spain, would contribute a rural olive-producing perspective through an Olive Food Resilience Lab linked to the DOP Baena identity.
